  • Hydrate: Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your session.

  • Avoid Alcohol & Caffeine: Cut back for at least 24-48 hours before, as they can dehydrate you.

  • Light Meal: Avoid heavy meals right before your treatment.

  • No Products: Come with clean skin, free of lotions, perfumes, or antiperspirants (face moisturizers are usually fine).

  • Wear Loose Clothes: Comfort is key for relaxation and movement.

  • Deep Breathing/Light Movement: Gentle activities like walking or dry brushing can prime your system.

  • Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate: Drink 1-2 liters of water to help flush toxins.

  • Rest: Take it easy and avoid strenuous exercise (like aerobics, intense workouts) for the rest of the day.

  • Light Movement: Gentle walking or stretching helps keep fluid moving.

  • Avoid Alcohol/Salt: Skip alcohol and salty foods for a few days to prevent dehydration and water retention.

  • Moisturize: Apply a light, natural moisturizer to soothe skin.

  • No Sun/Hot Tubs: Avoid tanning and hot baths/showers that can increase swelling or irritate skin.

Reiki & Energy Healing Precare
  • Nourish Your Body- In the hours before your session, offer your body simple care. Drink water, choose light and nourishing foods, and if possible, avoid heavy meals, alcohol, or excess caffeine. This helps your system feel supported and receptive.

  • Arrive in Comfort- Wear loose, comfortable clothing if possible.

  • Arrive as You Are - If it feels right, take a quiet moment to connect inwardly, perhaps setting a gentle intention or simply allowing yourself to slow down. There is no need to force anything your presence is enough.

  • A Safe Space to Share - If you feel comfortable you are welcome to share any physical, emotional, or energetic concerns you'd like support with. Everything is held with care, compassion, respect and full confidentiality.

  • Listen Within - Emotions or insights may surface welcome them with kindness. Journalling or mindfulness can help you to understand what is unfolding.

  • Connect with Nature - Spend time in nature or simply pause under open sky to ground and steady your energy.

  • Gentle Care- Allow emotional release if it comes, reduce stimulation, and choose calm, soothing activities. A warm salt bath can further support relaxation and cleansing and try to limit screen time.
